Reopening Guideline

Reopening Guideline

Dear YB Family,

We have been learning more about the process the Stamford Public Schools and Health Department have put in place following potential COVID case(s) in schools. Thus, we would like to share our enhanced policy that will remain in effect until communicated otherwise. We respectfully ask that you adhere to our policy for the safety of our YB Community.

Your child shall switch to participate in online classes or quarantine:

  •       Any child(ren) in your immediate family attends a school that has a potential COVID case (1-week quarantine)
  •       School(s) of the child(ren) from families that you are in regular contact with has a potential COVID case (2-weeks quarantine)
  •       Anybody your family is in regular contact with has been exposed to a potential COVID case (2-weeks quarantine)
  •       Anybody in your family has traveled domestically away from home and beyond your daily activity/habitual routes (2-weeks quarantine)
  •       Anybody in your family has traveled internationally (2-weeks quarantine)

Returning to in-person classes will only be allowed if:

  •       The school and Health Department have confirmed that the potential COVID case turned out negative and your child(ren), or child(ren) from families that you are in regular contact with have been cleared to return to school
  •       The individual your family is in regular contact with had been exposed to a negative COVID case
  •       The two-week quarantine period is over, if any of the first three scenarios, that triggered the start of your self-quarantine in the first place, resulted in a positive COVID case where your child(ren), the child(ren) of families you are in regular contact with, or the individual your family is in regular contact with are required to quarantine.
  •       Your two-week quarantine period is over following all domestic and international travel

Classes missed while waiting for clearance/test results or due to a positive COVID case will be transferred to credit

Again, we respectfully ask you to adhere to these guidelines to keep our business environment and all the families of the children attending classes at YB World safe. Our safety protocols in the studios also will remain in place until further notice. We appreciate your understanding and sincerely thank you for your cooperation and vigilance.

We appreciate your support and cooperation during this time.

Best Regards,
YB World Taekwondo.
